About us
Hamilton Lodge School and College, located on the beautiful Sussex coast, provides specialist education for children and young people aged 5–19. Our current provision focuses on secondary and further education learners, and from September—responding to high demand—we will be expanding to include primary education.
Established over 80 years ago, Hamilton Lodge has supported thousands of deaf young people throughout its rich history.
As a charitable trust, Hamilton Lodge School and College is non-maintained and is fully supported by a Board of Trustees.
We offer both residential and day placements, alongside a wide range of evening activities and enrichment opportunities.
As a specialist school for deaf learners, communication is at the heart of everything we do. Our curriculum is enriched through British Sign Language (BSL) and supported by an on-site multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), Physiotherapy, SEMH support, Occupational Therapy (OT), and Audiology.
