A pay award of 聽5.5% is an essential first step in the reversal of the real terms pay cuts inflicted upon teachers and school leaders聽 under the previous 10 Conservative Education Secretaries聽.
Clearly, there is still some way to go to restore the 14% that teachers and school leaders have lost since 2010 and 国产探花would expect this to be addressed in future pay rounds.
